RE: unusual trailer

I like how the pics make it look like you had to sneak up on it to get the picture. :B

RE: Jayco coupler lock help

Anyone have pictures and brand of coupler lock that works for this inverted coupler??
What you have is as best as you'll do. I haven't located a ball lock that fits in the Jayco coupler either.

RE: 2008 Jayco awnings....mod available?

He's 6'2", I'd think if he came close he'd have mentioned it. tomman58, you obviously got your '08 before Jayco switched over to the flat pitch awning in Dec./Jan.
I have no doubt that if you had a flat pitch you would not hit your head as en3chix has said. Try reading the thread I linked to above.

RE: I'm cheating on my camper..oh the shame

All the reasons and then more that we have our TT and won't go back to staying in hotels anywhere.
Do you know how old that mattress is or how the sheets were washed on the bed you'll be sleeping in? Or what's on the carpeting in that room? Yeah, no thanks. :)

RE: Help in choosing the right 1st TT

If you do decide on the 26BHS, definitely get the Maxistor option, it's worth every penny.

Or a little lighter is the Jayco 29X

RE: 2005 Chevy Tahoe Z71-Towing

I think you're crazy trying to tow the trailer with the TV you have. I speak from personal experience attempting to tow a 30' trailer right at max weights with a Tahoe.

RE: Try rvupgrades.com

I've used them many times before mainly because they're located out of Ohio and the ground shipping is usually one day. The prices are comparable also.

RE: Question about TT weight/Chevy Tahoe

Personally, the most I'd tow with any Tahoe would be in the 5500 lb. range fully loaded. Even lighter if you're going up steep grades.
Depending on the manufacturer you'll be looking for a trailer in the 4000 to 4500 lb. range, dry. That trailer may just be a little too much for the truck.

Wow, I didn't realize Parker was so close to me (Sharon) and Harrisville is even closer. I may have to check out that campground too!

RE: tail light trouble

Most likely something's not grounded. Do you have a test light in your tool box in order to make sure the 7 pin connector is good?

RE: Need help with neighbors pop-up trailer...PLEASE

So, she came over and got it up. Then she attempted to lowered it, and couldn't. So, we came over and looked and we were confused also.
They say after 4 hours you should see a physician. :B
I'm sorry I just couldn't resist. And unfortunately I have no real advice on your issue.

RE: Best TT with a Dry Weight Under 4800 Pounds

Jayco does give the UVW and it's usually VERY close to accurate since they don't have a bunch of options, it all comes standard.

You don't really tow with that golf cart in the bed do you? From the picture it looks like you're rear axle is well overloaded.
